Footnotes

Planned feature

Footnotes are not yet implemented. This page describes the intended syntax so you know what's coming — but writing /fn[...] in a .tac file today won't produce a footnote yet. For now, if you need a citation or aside, consider a small line of muted text or a reference to a dedicated "Notes" slide.

Footnotes will let you add a citation or a small aside without cluttering the main text of a slide.

Planned syntax

A footnote will be written as a function attached right where the marker should appear:

Tachyonn is fast /fn[Based on internal benchmarks].

The main text stays clean, and the footnote content moves to the bottom of the slide with a small reference marker linking the two.
